Moonrise Temple

The figure walks calmy, serenely, across the bridge, gazing up at the pearly moon as a gentle breeze stirs.

A piece for worldbuilding, and for getting to grips with a different painting approach.

Finalised painting, with the windows from the thumbnail finally added.

Initial thumbnails for the piece: I chose 2 as my base.

Initial paintover to establish large base values and fix things such as missing items of clothing or leaves.

First total paintover: initial attempt at shading using soft brushes.

Second total paintover: refined shading using harder edged brushes and defined areas of colour.
