Shadowblade Concept: Spider-Mage

A concept for a sadly left-behind game called Shadowblade. This Spider-Mage would have been a mobile enemy that could move around the level, shooting magical projectiles at the player, or attacking in melee. The design idea for them was that their bodies have mutated/been grafted onto machinery, and that the constant pain drives them to attack the player.
